Activities

As India advances towards its Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, the role of future-ready civil engineering talent will be pivotal to infrastructure growth. The Building Bharat Sampaark Innovation Boot Camp for Civil Engineering Students is a three-day residential program designed to complement academic learning with innovation-led, industry-aligned exposure. Through an immersive format comprising expert-led sessions, structured ideation, mentoring, and an industry-defined Hackathon, the program enables students to engage with real-world challenges, emerging trends, and practical perspectives. Guided by industry leaders and senior faculty, participants progress seamlessly from learning and ideation to application and solution development in a highly interactive environment.

The Executive Education Program (EEP), designed to up-skill practicing civil engineers and architects, which offers flexible, industry-relevant short courses in infrastructure management, covering technology, sustainability, finance, safety, and contract management. Curated by eminent faculty from leading institutions in the country, including IITs and IIM, in collaboration with industry experts, the program blends academic rigor with practical insights and is continuously refined to meet the evolving needs of professionals and organizations. The program is offered in small batches and is hosted at leading institutions, such as IITs. The program has over 3000 alumni.

India Infrastructure Summit is the Association’s flagship annual industry event, a high-impact platform that brings together leaders and stakeholders from across the infrastructure ecosystem to deliberate on the latest developments, technologies, innovation, talent needs, and emerging trends. Spanning urban, rural, and core infrastructure sectors, the Summit focuses on generating actionable intelligence to support sustainable and reliable industry growth while informing effective policy formulation by the government.

The Knowledge Task Force is a focused capacity-building initiative designed to equip government officials with up-to-date knowledge in civil engineering, construction, and infrastructure. Developed by leading faculty from premier institutions such as the IITs, in collaboration with industry experts, the program enhances the technical understanding of civil servants, enabling more informed decision-making and effective discharge of responsibilities in public infrastructure projects.
